Taylor Police have arrested a 26-year-old man after he led police on a crazy chase.

According to police, the man initially hit a car on Telegraph and fled the scene. Then, police say he drove into a neighborhood where he ran onto lawns, hit trees and a utility pole before crashing into a car, injuring a 17-year-old.

Then, the suspect fled on foot before police arrived. He then returned to the scene away from police and medical personnel.

Police say when they were interviewing a witness, the suspect hopped into one of the patrol cars. When police noticed, they tried to stop him, but he threw the car in reverse, dragging one of the officers several feet.

When another police car went after him, the suspect lost control and hit a snowbank before finally surrendering to police.

The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and a possible head injury. The officer was not injured.

The suspect is expected to be arraigned Wednesday.
